COMACOE provides a range of near shore marine construction solutions using its vast marine expertise, inhouse availability of specialized marine spread and manpower as also adept marine management skills. It is not surprising that COMACOE has been called on to execute some very challenging marine projects, few of which are listed below:

±

Trenching, welding and bottom pull for laying of 1.3 km 18” LPG pipeline across Hadkiya Creek crossing by L&T for GAIL. This is a part of the longest LPG pipeline covering an overall distance of 1800 km.

±
Trenching welding and laying of 1km 30” pipeline off Manori, west coast of India for Indian Oil Corporation. Scope included underwater blasting of rock, preparing sand mattress underlay prior to pipelaying as a part of the overall trenching process.
±
Turnkey construction of effluent disposal pipeline with multiport diffuser including trenching and laying of 3.5km 30” HDPE pipeline and diffuser with antibouyancy blocks, thrust and reaction blocks for 2 x 125 MW GMDC Power plant in Gulf of Kutch.
±
Dredging and construction of 1km length, 80m wide gravity seawater intake channel for L&T ECC, Akrimota Power Plant. Project scope included dredging and disposal of material, preparation of embankments 2m above maximum tide range, laying of surface and subsea geotextile (over 110,000 SqM) and rock armor (over 400,00 M3).
±
Pre trenching services for 9km offshore pipeline for Essar Projects in Gulf of Cambay with tide range of 10m and currents peaking at 6 knots.
± Driving of PU 16 sheet piles for pipeline embankment for Aban Constructions in Gulf of Cambay
± Dredging for removal of stone boulders upto 2T in weight from abandoned breakwater project in Dahej, Gulf of Cambay for Ballast Nedam-IHI-Toyo Consortium.
± Pre trenching services for Uran-Trombay pipeline project for Punj Lloyd Ltd.

The increased environmental sensibility all around the coasts, has enhanced the usage of marine outfalls to discharge the treated effluents in the sea at adequate distance depending upon the regional regulations. Focus on overall infrastructure development and plans for several pipelines landfalling along the long Indian coastline present very good prospects for many more such similar projects.

Dedicated and specialized marine spreads comprising of 4 point mooring crane barges, spud barges with extended reach excavators, cutter and agitation suction dredgers, crane mounted jack up barges, diving spreads are used for meeting challenging marine project execution. COMACOE has built a steady reputation for being a dependable marine contractor in the oil & gas and infrastructure domain.
